Background

The Economic Recovery Support Function Operations Team is committed to identifying and leveraging unique competitive advantages to support economic growth and resilience in California following the severe winter storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that occurred between December 27, 2022, and January 31, 2023. California boasts several resources, including major airports and ports, a strong technology industry, fertile agricultural land, a diverse and talented workforce, and strategic positioning along the Pacific coast. Our team aims to carefully analyze and strategize these resources to develop a comprehensive plan for economic recovery and growth in the disaster-affected areas.
